What is Blended Learning?

Blended learning is a mix of traditional in-person learning with a teacher in a classroom and interactive learning activities using digital technologies, often from home. Blended learning combines:

  • classroom-based activities with the teacher present
  • digital materials provided by the teacher
  • independent study using materials provided by the teacher

Every school is on its own, unique journey when it comes to digital strategy, facing different challenges in relation to technology provision in school and within its community.  BlendEd content is designed to address a variety of contexts. We bring together a rich mix of resources from a range of sources, making them easily accessible in one place and discoverable through the search filter function.
